King Fahd

As you would all be aware Saudi's King Fahd has died. Because he was the caretaker of the 2 most holy Islamic sites, he is being mourned across the Middle East. For instance, Bahrain has declared the same days of mourning as Saudi; Tuesday - Friday. (There are close ties between the two countries since there's a causeway between them resulting in a large flow of people and goods). Here the radio stations are all broadcasting prayers and tributes to King Fahd, and I do mean ALL stations. (The hour in my car last night while running errands was sans radio since I had no idea what was being said as it's in Arabic.) And even TV... we don't have many channels that interest us and of the 5 channels we watch most of the time, 2 were taken over by Arabic broadcasts about Fahd, and one of them for some reason didn't have sound! Limited viewing for me indeed.
