Sold!

I can't believe that in just over a week we've sold nearly everything we wanted to. Wanna buy a lounge suite, iron and ironing board, or single bed? ;-) I even managed to sell the appliances but keep some of them until we leave (accepting full payment up front, of course). So I have a fridge, stove, washing machine and vacuum until I don't need them any more. I have had a couple of issues. One guy came by after Jim went to the US and he made me really uncomfortable. He was supposed to come back the next day to give me the $$ for the stuff he wanted. Instead he brought me lunch. I managed to get a friend to come over here to be with me when this guy was here. I eventually persuaded him to leave and take his lunch with him. Fortunately I've now sold all the stuff he said he was interested in so there's no reason for him to come back here. And I had one guy that just likes to play games. Four different times we agreed with him that he'd come by with the cash and he didn't, other than a very small deposit. I got him to come around today and we had a 20 minute argument about whether he was going to pay me the full amount or I was going to give him his deposit back and sell the items to someone else. He did finally give me all the cash. What a little $hit he was. As he was leaving he told me I was very strong. I'm sure he meant principle-wise but I was about to kick his butt if he didn't stop mucking me around. Fortunately don't have to see him again either.
